Chads Youth Studio is open to young people between the ages of 12 and 18. It is run by two professional and experienced tutors. It is Chads’ policy that anyone involved with our Youth members should be CRB checked and the welfare and well-being of our younger members is monitored by our Child Protection Officers. |

Our Youth Studio workshops take place on a Tuesday evening from 7 until 9 in the theatre building on Mellor Road, Cheadle Hulme. These workshops include practice in theatre skills including: Voice Movement Improvisation Acting
Each season the Youth Studio members rehearse and stage a production which is performed on our main stage. This often means extra commitment from both the tutors and the members. In the past few years the plays have included: The Odyssey Blood Brothers Stags and Hens At Break of Day Romeo and Juliet Our Day Out Mr.Quigley’s Revenge Youth Studio members are encouraged to audition for our main productions and recent plays involving Youth members include: The Happiest Days of Your Life Arcadia Kinderstransport The Snow Queen Amongst Barbarians The Witches The Life of Galileo John Willy and the Bee People Toad of Toad Hall Tom’s Midnight Garden Arms and the Man The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
